TV Shows to Watch

Gotham in For a New Season
By Dwight Ankle

In season 3 we left off with the death of Fish Mooney(Jada Pinkett Smith), the court of owls decimated, the Tetch virus being released in the city, and surviving and new villains in Gotham fighting for power. The stakes will definitely be high in the following season. The theme of the season makes it perfect to watch as it airs close to October. The first half of season 4 is inspired by comic book story “Batman: The Long Halloween” which will put the show on a horror movie path, even showcasing one of Gotham's major and probably scariest villains Scarecrow. Executive producer Danny Cannon even stated, “When the studio asks you to tone back because it's too scary, you know you've done something right!”

Not only are we getting new fan-favorite villains, but we finally see “Bruce” played by David Mazouz, take on the Batman persona in Episode 1. In the last Season we saw him learning and attaining these skills to be a vigilante but now fans get to see him put those skills to use the way we want him to. David Mazouz has done a great job portraying Bruce's growth through the seasons. This season we get another major villain who plays a keep part in Batman's growth from here, Alexander Siddig who will be playing the Ra's al Ghul teases that Ra’s plans for Bruce will snap from the young man´s journey to his Dark Knight destiny.

With all this plot twist and so many things going on this season is sure to be worthwhile. This season may be all about how the Dark Knight rises, but once Bruce starts clashing with his now established rogues gallery it has the potential to make Gotham one of the most exciting shows on TV.  The show promises to have you at the edge of your seat!
