Pep Rally 2017

The Insanity Before The Madness
Destanie Jefferson-Lee

Pep Rally is the week when the school goes crazy. It’s the opening season for basketball but most importantly it is the day where classes get together and go head to head with each other.  This is the time of year everyone waits for. Classes battle each other for the best class title. Rivalries form between juniors and seniors. Pranks come up. Teachers chooses sides.

The class of 2018 making their mark as the best class. Secrets spreading. The excitement is up. Friday can’t come fast enough. The pressure is on. Will pranks go as planned or fall out of line? Will classes take it to things to heart?
Will pep rally get shut down this year?
Will we really have a guest performance?
Find out What happens next on next week’s episode of Phoenix Flame.

DECEMBER 15, 2017 is the date for this year’s annual pep rally.

Every year University High School has an annual pep rally where EVERYONE IS INVITED. I’m talking from parents to Alumni. We all get together and have fun. Everything is planned out from beginning to end and there is never a dull moment. Every year it gets more exciting because every year you get closer and closer to being a senior. This is a time where every grade put their differences a side and enjoy.

Pep rally is for students to get into to spirit for the upcoming basketball season and to start everyone's spring break off right.
